Part of the Darling Harbour Live PPP redevelopment of the SE corner Sydney’s CBD, Darling Square has reimagined the Haymarket to a vibrant diverse part of the city.
Featuring circa 60 retail outlets, 1500 homes, CBA’s new 50,000m2 workplace, 1000 student housing beds and The Darling Exchange, this new urban fabric knits back into the city proving grand boulevards, intimate laneways and a new public square.
The development strategy included an urban retail strategy which held all retail under ownership whilst it stabilised allowing individual and unique retailers to thrive, even though covid.
